| Minnesota's offensive explosion On Friday, the Minnesota Twins faced the Chicago White Sox in a doubleheader and put on one of the most impressive offensive display's I've ever seen. They won the first game, 20-14, and took the second, 12-0. That's right, they put up 32 runs in back-to-back wins. As the Associated Press reported on Saturday, "It was the most runs scored by one team in a doubleheader since the Boston Red Sox totaled 35 in a sweep of the Philadelphia Athletics on July 4, 1939, according to the Elias Sports Bureau." Justin Morneau added three homers in the nightcap. So, how about those Twins? |
