| Poor Kirby O, Kirby Puckett. I remember the dude who roamed the field for the Twinkies in the 80s/90s and who put in one of the single greatest World Series performances ever in game six of 1991. I remember the dude who had cut a Hall of Fame career short because of glaucoma. I remember the dude who stood accused of assault twice, once by his wife, and then his disappearance from the public eye. I've got mixed feelings about he who was my favorite player when he was on the field, but damn he was the best. And truly one of the all-time great baseball names...
