Kirby Puckett Suffers Stroke

Hall of Fame outfielder Kirby Puckett suffered a stroke on Sunday. Kirby was a great player and I hope everything works out for him. Below is a link to the story...

Re: Kirby Puckett Suffers Stroke

Really respectful of you to post that wv. Kirby was a pocket rocket in center. He was a huge part of the rags to riches Twins. He hustled and had a quick bat. I wish him the best. My prayers are with him and his family.

Poor Kirby

O, Kirby Puckett.

I remember the dude who roamed the field for the Twinkies in the 80s/90s and who put in one of the single greatest World Series performances ever in game six of 1991.

I remember the dude who had cut a Hall of Fame career short because of glaucoma.

I remember the dude who stood accused of assault twice, once by his wife, and then his disappearance from the public eye.

I've got mixed feelings about he who was my favorite player when he was on the field, but damn he was the best.

And truly one of the all-time great baseball names...

Re: Poor Kirby

Kirby Puckett is dead.

Shame, a great player in his day. Sad time.

Re: Poor Kirby

Kirby was a great player and deserves all of the respect that he gets. It is a shame he had to pass on so young.
