The Twins had a solid team this season, but one would have never known that by looking at their postseason performance. Of course, the Oakland A's played well. No one will dispute that. But, the Twins showed almost no life at all in the whole series. Their run production was both puny and totally atypical of their normal offensive output. No key players were injured, so it's very hard to explain their dreadful performances. Their swoon couldn't have come at a worse time. And, what made it worse was that it was a total team collapse.

You can say that again. Along with the Yanks, the Twins offense completely crapped out this post-season. I was expecting them to hit well, too, especially with Mauer and Morneau. But it seemed as though they all fell into a dip at the same time.

A shame too because they fought so hard to win the division.
