I am not so sure they are choking...A's are jsut playing well...saw Kotsay's inside the park homer...Hunter made a stab at it and barely missed...the ball went to the wall...no choking involved.

The Athletics in recent history haven't been too lucky in possible series-clinching games. Still, I doubt the Twins can get three back-to-back wins. I do think they'll pull out at least one win though.

I don't think that this series is that much of a surprise. Nobody gives the A's any credit. They're a pretty good team and Frank Thomas finally gives them the bopper they've needed since Jason Giambi.

I'm not watching game 3, maybe that way they won't make bonehead mistakes like diving for a ball with 2 outs in an inning.

If the Twins do get swept, it should be a major defeat. After all the clawing and fighting they did to win the AL Central, to just get swept and go home. Oakland would have had a great series.
