Re: Twins tied for AL Central lead

So the Twins and Tigers are now tied atop the American League Central entering today's games, and Minnesota finally has Brad Radke back in the rotation. According to this story, "Detroit hosts the Royals for its final three games, while Minnesota is home for the final three against the Chicago White Sox... Not a bad scenario for the Twins, who were 12 games back and in fourth place as late as July 15." Minnesota is definitely one of the hottest teams in baseball right now; I can't bet against them in this race. Give 'em the AL Central, that's what I think. What about you?

ESPN predicted Justin Morneau to capture the AL MVP Award.

Twins are on fire. Seriously, they are so hot their stadium might burn down!

Re: Twins tied for AL Central lead

Still doubt anyone but Jeter takes the MVP but if the Twins can clinch the division, what a meltdown by the Tigers.

Tigers have fallen off track the Second Half without a doubt.

Go Dodgers!

Re: Twins tied for AL Central lead

Twins blew a golden opportunity yesterday - Detroit lost, but Minnesota couldn't beat the White Sox, losing 6-3. So here's the situation entering the final day of the season - if Detroit wins, they win the Central. Minnesota needs the Tigers to lose, and they also have to upend the ChiSox. If that happens, the Twins win the division. So all four Central division teams will have a say in who wins the title. How does this situation play itself out?

Re: Twins tied for AL Central lead

Sounds like it.

This day determines the fate and outcome of an 162-game season of hard work.
