| Minnesota Twins vs. Detroit Tigers The Minnesota Twins beat the Detroit Tigers, 9-5, yesterday to remain a half game up on the White Sox in the AL Wild Card race. Furthermore, the Twins are now just 4 games out of first place in the AL Central. According to Reuters, "Justin Morneau drove in three runs and Joe Mauer scored three times" as Minnesota pounded out 13 hits on the day. The two teams meet again tonight at 7:10 Eastern, with Boof Bonser (4-5, 4.83 ERA) expected to take the hill for the Twins against Nate Robinson (12-11, 3.93 ERA) of the Tigers. Predictions for this one?

| Re: Minnesota Twins vs. Detroit Tigers Justin Morneau and Joe Mauer are the future of the Twins organization at the plate. I would rely on Francisco Liriano and Jose Santana to bring the Twins to the World Series in future years. One of the best ball clubs in baseball right now. Did you know that Francisco Liriano has a book out now about his path to the majors? |

| Re: Minnesota Twins vs. Detroit Tigers I've gotta think they'll at least win the Wild Card. A division title isn't out of the question either, consider how well they've been playing. We'll see, I guess, but one way or another, I expect to see Minnesota in the playoffs. |
