| Minnesota rookie Randy Foye MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 26 (AP) -- With the game on the line, the Minnesota Timberwolves turned to a rookie. Randy Foye delivered. The seventh pick in the draft made a runner with 1.8 seconds left, and the Timberwolves escaped with a 100-98 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night after blowing a 25-point lead. Foye, who finished with a career-high 25 points, took the ball from Kevin Garnett and drove to the right side before putting a shot over Kirk Hinrich. "That's what I do best, make plays for myself and make plays for other people," Foye said. "You would see the last seven minutes of every game in college (at Villanova) I had the ball and I wasn't scoring all the time. I was making plays for other people, but if they took that away from me I scored." Timberwolves 100,Bulls 98 Last edited by Lefty Noob : 12-27-2006 at 03:39 PM. |
