Minnesota has the conference's worst defense, allowing an average of 36.3 points and 556.3 yards per game. Come on... who do you THINK will win this one? The Boilermakers in a rout.

| Re: Minnesota Golden Gophers / Purdue Boilermakers Turns out Minnesota kept it kind of close, but ultimately lost 45-31. According to the Associated Press, "Minnesota scored touchdowns on its first four possessions of the second half" -- but -- "Purdue scored on its first three tries after halftime" as well. Gophers QB Adam Weber struggled in the first half but eventually rebounded to throw for one touchdown and run for another in the loss.
