If this was a couple of years ago, this would've been a good game. But Minnesota's predicted to finish in the bottom half of the Big Ten and Bowling Green is fresh off a 4-8 season. The Gophers probably come away with a win here due to their superior athleticism. What do you expect to see out of Minnesota in their season opener?

It's not the biggest upset of the day - it's not even the weekend's biggest upset in the Big Ten - but it's a shock nonetheless: Bowling Green beat Minnesota 32-31 in overtime. The winning score came on a two-point conversion, a pass from Tyler Sheehan to Freddie Barnes. Sheehan hit Marques Parks for a 9-yard TD just before hand, and BGSU coach Gregg Brandon gambled, going for two and the win. The gamble paid off and the Golden Gophers fall short in coach Tim Brewster's debut.
