| Bucks analyze options JS Online: Bucks analyze options Quote:
With one week to go until the big event, the Milwaukee Bucks are continuing to consider their options for the National Basketball Association’s college draft.
And their options are many.
Do they draft with the idea of trying to bolster a certain position or take the best player available? Do they select the most “NBA ready” player available or can they risk taking a player who may be a couple of years away? Or do they trade their No. 8 pick in the first round to either move up or down in the draft?
The one thing certain at this point is that there will be plenty of maneuvering by teams in the week ahead.
“We’re still very much in the process,” said Bucks general manager John Hammond. “It’s still an ongoing process. There’s still a lot of movement ahead of us. You’re hearing all kinds of rumors of teams that are ahead of us are still undecided.
“So as the draft draws nearer, usually 24 or maybe 48 hours before, you start to get little more of a handle on who actually is going to be in your range and you can narrow it down to the two or three guys that could be in your range. Even at this point, it’s still very difficult.”
