Bucks' Andrew Bogut Out 6-8 Weeks

Sophmore center Andrew Bogut will miss the beginning of the season according to the Associated Press. It's due to what's described as a lower left leg sprain after colliding with Steve Smith during a practice.

The AP says coach Porter is confident in back-ups Dan Gadzuric and Brian Skinner. I doubt they'll be as effective as Bogut could be though. Definitely some tough luck for the Bucks early in the season.

So much for doctors. Bogut is now expected to play tomorrow in the Bucks' season opening game.

Anyone projecting this top rookie from last year making a jump to the elite class at center this year?
