| Brewers bracing for Central Showdown The Brewers are ready to face their NL Central Rivals, St. Louis Cardinals for first place in the NL Central. The Crew is one game behind the Cards. They lost 4 of their past 5 games. Do the Brewers come out of this with first place?

| Re: Brewers bracing for Central Showdown Crucial series for the Brew Crew coming into the All-Star break. The Cardinals have looked pretty good recently while the Brewers have... not. Adam Wainwright will be picthing the first game of the series, I can't see him not doing great after a 12 strikeout performance his last start. I see the Cards taking the 1st and last game of the series and taking 1st place with it.
