Either Yovani Gallardo is too young to feel the pressure or he does a good job of hiding it.
The young pitcher has shown to be the star of a pitching staff that needed one after Sabathia signed with the Yankees and the Brewers parted with Ben Sheets.
Gallardo has been solid or dominant in 4 of his 5 starts, including the 1-0 win over the Pirates when he struck out a career high 11 batters in 8 innings and scored the only run with a solo home run in the 7th.
It was the second win off his bat. The first was when he hit a 3 run homer off Randy Johnson in a 4-2 win against San Francisco last month.
