| Brewers acquire Tony Graffanino As first reported in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Brewers have traded LHP Jorge De La Rosa to Kansas City for veteran utility infielder Tony Graffanino. It was pretty much a forced move, as the paper reports that the Brewers were short on healthy infielders. Long term, though, is it a mistake to deal off De La Rosa for a quick fix?

| Re: Brewers acquire Tony Graffanino I'm not sure about that one, Lefty Noob. They both seem like they have the same value. To tell you the truth, they are both decent players will the same kind of average future. Here is a quick match-up courtesy of me. Jorge De La Rosa:2-2 (30 IP), 8.60 ERA Not a bad record for a relief pitcher. His ERA is horrible. If he lowers it, he would be a better player. Tony Graffanino:5 HRs, 32 RBIs (220 ABs, 70 G), .268 At those numbers, he is actually in his prime. He is on pace for the best statistics in his ten-year career. |
