Re: Fielder bails out Turnbow

Brewers closer Derrick Turnbow blew a save opp last night, but Prince Fielder bailed him out and Milwaukee wound up getting the 6-5 win over Philly. Turnbow gets the win, despite blowing the lead and giving up two runs in one inning of work. Someone please explain to me why in the world things are set up that way? How can a guy pitch that poorly and earn a win?

Wow, just looked over Prince Fielder's stats...I should not have cut the boy (I had a log jam at first with Sexson and Pujols) ...he is hitting .326 with 8 homers 30 RBI's and has even thrown in 4 steals...

Cecil's son is the real deal...
