Eric Gagne has (finally) been pulled out of Milwaukee's closer role.
In fact, ESPN's Jim Rome is reporting that Gagne himself begged off the role, telling the team that he "didn't deserve the ninth."
So is he done? Washed up? Should the Brewers just cut their losses and release this guy?

With Milwaukee, it makes sense. They needed a closer, and hoped Gagne would be salvageable in a small market, with no pressure.
It was a gamble and it didn't work, but I can't fault them for taking a chance on the guy.

so crazy a few years ago he was the top closer, now, hes washed up..
