Brewers-Cubs rivalry among the best

I believe the most underrated rivalry in baseball is the Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs. With the exception of last weekend, the games are generally close. In addition, there seems to be a general bitterness between Milwaukee fans and Chicago fans or better yet, Wisconsinites and Illinoisans. Cubs fans, who generally can’t buy a ticket to a Cubs game at Wrigley Field, revel in the ability to come to Miller Park — or Wrigley Field North as it’s become known for the number of fans who invade Miller Park during Cubs-Brewers series.

What do you think? Is the Milwaukee-Chicago rivalry really one of baseball's best?

Now, just about 2 years since you posted this, they are still very under-rated. I hate it, I really do. Nowadays, you TRY to buy a ticket to a Cubs-Brewer game. I do enjoy the immense hate we Brewer fans have for the Cubs. If a Brewer fan sees a Cub fan, they instantly boil up and yell, cuss them out, or just cut them down. This rivalry has got to be at least second overall only to Yankees-Red Sox.

Wow, that's interesting. Even more so than any of the Bay Area feuds? Or the Cubs-White Sox? What does everyone else think?
