This fellow struck out 7 of his first 9 at bats this year, but since then he has gone on a tear. He is hitting 32-92 (.34, with 5 homers, 16 RBI, and 2 stolen bases! He will be 22 in May, and the sky is going to be the limit for this son of Cecil.

Cool...glad I had him asa sleeper pick...of course I passed on him in fantasy league...two guys by the name of Pujols and Sexson are on the squad...

I'm glad that the team I'm playing decided to bench him this week. Although he still has Thome.

Thome has done considerably better this year, than Fielder.

But Fielder is a now a safe pick for your fantasy team. I wouldn't start him as a first-baseman but he is definitely a reliable utility-player to rack up some hits, RBIs and HRs.

He should finish the rest of the season strong if he stays healthy.

Maybe not, but he sure looks like he's far healthier this year than he has been in a while.
