Ned Yost will be back as the manager of the Milwaukee Brewers in 2008.

According to the Associated Press, "Yost, who took over for Jerry Royster in the 2003 season, is signed for next year, and the Brewers have a team option for 2009. Milwaukee went started 24-10 and led the NL Central by as many as 8 1/2 games in June, then slid to an 83-79... Still, it was the team's first winning season since 1992." Good idea or bad idea retaining Yost?

Same here, but I'm guessing they expectations are higher for this team now that everyone is talented, and some people were questioning some of his moves late in the year. Still, I agree that it's absolutely the right move to bring back Yost.

Has there ever been a manager whose moves weren't questioned?

If I were the Brewers, I'd lock him up long term. If Sheets stays healthy they win the division.
