| Prince Fielder suspended According to MLB.com, "Brewers first baseman and National League home run leader Prince Fielder appealed the three-day suspension handed down by Major League Baseball on Wednesday and was in the starting lineup at Miller Park." According to the Associated Press, "Prince Fielder had his three-game suspension that was handed down by the commissioner's office reduced to two games, and planned to start serving it Friday night in San Francisco... 'Our plan was we weren't going to have him miss the Chicago series,' Brewers manager Ned Yost said.
