Brewers vs. Mets

The Milwaukee Brewers host the New York Mets tonight in the first game of a three-game series. Tonight, they'll not only try to hold on to their one-game NL Central lead, but also hold off Tom Glavine as the Mets hurler looks for win #300. Jeff Suppan, who is just 1-4 with a 7.13 ERA in his last 10 starts, will take the mound for the Brew Crew. How do you guys see this series turning out?

Re: Brewers vs. Mets

The Brewers fought and ended up winning 4-2 in 12 innings thanks to a two-run Geoff Jenkins walk-off home run.

I swear, every time I see Bill Hall at the plate, I get a little scared. The dude is always coming up with the big hits and he did it again earlier in the game when he tied the game in the 7th.

The Brewers have a great young core...and wow, I didn't even realize Weeks was having a terrible season. What's up with him?

Re: Brewers vs. Mets

Really don't know why Weeks has been struggling. No one's really talking much about it, presumably because there are so many other guys who are hitting well and it really hasn't been costing the team much until lately. He's on my GTG fantasy team, though, and has been a season-long disappointment, so it's not like it's just a slump.
