| Milwaukee struggling According to the Associated Press, "The NL Central leaders have big problems. Not even All-Star closer Francisco Cordero can save them now... Ken Griffey Jr. hit his 588th homer Thursday, and the Cincinnati Reds rallied against Milwaukee's nearly automatic closer for a 6-5, 10-inning victory that added to the Brewers' growing woes... They're still in first place, but not by much. And, they're playing like they don't deserve to be there." The Brewers at one time had an 8.5 game lead on the Cubbies, but that's evaporated down to just a 2.0 game advantage. They're 4-6 in their last 10 and 13-15 since gaining that 8.5 game lead. What the heck's wrong with this ballclub?

| Re: Milwaukee struggling The Brewers still aren't playing too well, going just 4-6 in their last 10. But thankfully for them, the Cubbies are playing worse, going 3-7 in that stretch. So Milwaukee is clinging to a 1.5 game lead in the NL Central. How does everyone see this division race playing out in the weeks to come? |
