Brewers Acquire Scott Linebrink from Padres

The Milwaukee Brewers dealt three prospects in a trade to San Diego for reliever Scott Linebrink. They sent Will Inman, Steve Garrison and Joe Thatcher (all pitchers) to the Padres.

This looks like a great deal for the Brew Crew. They deal some prospects for a guy many think was one of the best set-up men in the business.

The Cubs wouldve loved to have this guy and the Brewers got him.

Milwaukee looks to be in such great shape, especially after strengthening the pen with this deal. I'll be darned surprised if they don't make a run deep into the playoffs.
