Tony Graffanino, an infielder by trade, as been playing in the outfield recently.

According to the Associated Press, "Graffanino made his second career start in left field Friday night. He made three appearances in left with the Chicago White Sox in 2001 and made his debut in the outfield on Wednesday. When CF Bill Hall returns from the 15-day disabled list, possibly the middle of next week, Graffanino will return to infield. Yost wants Graffanino in the lineup because he came into Friday night's game batting .342 with seven home runs and 16 RBIs over the last 33 games."

I can definitely see why Yost would want him in the game game, so long as he's competent in the outfield.

It could be a big adjustment for him. He will have to cover a lot more ground to get the outs. At least they tried to protect him a little by putting him in LF.
