How about this kid Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers? According to the Associated Press, "In just over a month with the Brewers... Braun is batting .328 with six home runs, 21 RBI and six stolen bases. Of his 39 hits, 19 have been for extra bases... On a recently completed nine-game homestand, Braun started to build a National League Rookie of the Year case by batting .412 (14-for-34) with two home runs and 10 RBI." He's a 2005 draft pick out of Miami and he definitely seems to have a lot of big league potential, don't you think?

Braun was just named the NL Rookie of the Month for June.

According to the Associated Press, "Braun tied for first among NL rookies with six home runs while hitting .382 (39-for-102) with 27 runs, 12 doubles and four stolen bases... The 23-year-old, who was drafted with the fifth pick of the 2005 draft, had a pair of four-hit games in June and recorded a .716 slugging percentage and .435 on-base percentage."
