Yovani Gallardo

This kid Yovani Gallardo, a rookie pitcher for the Brewers, made his Major League debut last night and is getting rave reviews after giving up just one hit in his first six innings before showing signs of wear in the seventh. His final line was 3 runs on 4 hits, 1 HR, 3 walks and 3 strikeouts in 6.1 innings. Most importantly, though, is the impression he made on his teammates and his manager. "We were all standing on the mound after he left and I was looking at those kids and Prince [Fielder] goes, 'Man, he's cool. He's just nice and calm and cool,"' skipper Ned Yost told reporters after the game. "I said, 'Yeah, he's just like you guys. He's a stud."' So is this kid the real deal?
