Looks like the Brewers have found their fifth starter in Dave Bush
Quote:
Bush, acquired in the offseason trade sending Lyle Overbay to Toronto, has been impressive in his first spring in Milwaukee, going 2-0 with an 0.90 ERA. He already earned an official spot in the regular-season starting rotation Wednesday, and manager Ned Yost was pleased by his response.
"We wanted him to try to go out and pitch five innings and 80 pitches, and he ended up (going) six innings and 70 pitches," Yost said. "So (he was) sharp, ready to go. ... He changes speeds so well with that breaking ball, it's almost like (Roy) Oswalt in that respect. He's got a good fastball, and then the arm speed on that breaking ball makes you think it's a fastball."
Bush won 10 games for the Blue Jays over the last two seasons. Yost plans to go with a four-man starting rotation until two-time All-Star right-hander Ben Sheets returns from a strained muscle in his back.

When is Sheets due back? I would hope Yost isn't planning on going with a four-man rotation for too long. Good way to tire out your staff early in the season, and if this team wants to contend, they'll need those arms in good shape all season long.
