Re: Michigan Wolverines defense

So forget Henne and Hart for a second - its defense that wins championships. So how good are the Wolverines on D? According to this story, pretty darn good.

"There is plenty of talent on the Michigan defense, as several players have been named to the watch list for numerous individual end of season awards," the article claims. "Among them, senior DE LaMarr Woodley and senior CB Leon Hall anchor what Carr hopes will be a formidable defense that looks to improve upon the mere 20.3 ppg it allowed last season, which ranked as the 24th lowest yield in the country."

So what do you think? How good will the Michigan defense be in 2006?
