Re: Michigan prospect Neil Doogan

According to this story, the Michigan Wolverines are suddenly very interested in this kid Neil Doogan. "Philadelphia St. Joseph's prospect Neil Doogan was a standout performer at the linebacker position at last week's Michigan summer camp despite having lined up at defensive end for his high school team," the story says. "The 6-3, 225-pounder flashed a combination of size and speed that garnered attention from a number of coaches." Sounds like he'd be a nice fit on the Wolverines defense, does it not?

Re: Michigan prospect Neil Doogan

Hey, welcome to GoTeamsGo, md45, and thanks for the inside info! So Neil's your cousin, eh? What kind of scouting report can you give us on him? What current LB would you most compare his style of play to? Any other schools he's considering?

Re: Michigan prospect Neil Doogan

well i watched play in his first two games this season, and he played really well, i couldnt really tell u who he plays similar too, and all i know is that hes really hoping that he could go to michigan, and so is our whole family. He told me that coach carr wanted to see his first two game tapes because he switched from D end to linebacker, and then they would be able to tell him whether they will give him an offer or not.

Re: Michigan prospect Neil Doogan

Welcome to GoTeamsGo, md45

Seeing as Lloyd Carr is my mother in law's 2nd cousin (yes, I'm serious), I'll put a good word for your cousin

Is your whole family long-time Michigan fans? Or just parts of the family or just recently?

Look forward to chatting more with you.

Ross
