CBS and ESPN gave a little over 2.4 Billion for the rights to broadcast the SEC games. Ya'll just managed a podunk cable system WhooHOO! Wake up and smell the coffee. |
You seriously didn't just ask that stupid question did you? JUST Michigan and Ohio State have 16, just those schools combined have 16, understand that. That is not counting the other 9 schools.
The SEC isn't the best conference because it has the biggest fan based, that is just stupid to use as an argument. You really need to come down to earth. I keep hearing of this SEC speed when frankly it's a joke. How about Florida's bowl game last year vs a dead and buried UM team that lose to App St. and only mustered 150 yards of offense vs. Ohio State? How about the fact the the SEC and Big Ten went 3-3 head to head last year in bowl games and this is about the lowest I've ever seen the big ten, so you sit there trying to tell how how great it is and how bad the big ten is yet your teams can only go .500 vs the terrible big ten?

The SEC is all hype, all I heard was how Tebow was going to show UM why he won the heismen and at the end of the game I was talking to Crable and he looked and me and said, "Seriously, that's the heismen trophy winner?"I remember hearing how when we played Bama in 200 I believe in a bowl game how Bama was back and they were going to roll up on Michigan. Hmm... I seam to remember a guy by the name of Tom Brady carving them up for a career high 4 passing TDs and over 300 yards. You take the Florida game with UF having Rex Grossmen and UM having Navarre(who was a garbage QB btw) and UM had no problem with them at all but you take that same team to the rose bowl vs. USC and it was ugly.
I'm not saying Michigan is on top of the mountain now, because they aren't or the Big Ten is hands down the best in football because it's not, I'm saying give it a rest with the SEC crap when they only can go .500 vs. the supposed worst conference in football. the Pac 10 ALWAYS kills the Big Ten, the Big 12 this year is so deep it's scary. The SEC, no. They have Florida, which is a good team, LSU which may or may not be an elite team they haven't played anybody yet. Bama, a team who just squeaked by Tulan and don't give me this crap about injuries because Chad Henne and Mike Hart with both injured during the first game of last season and played hurt all year, that is part of the deal and it's up to the coach to find a way to come past that. They have UK which has never been a power, nor has SC, Vandy, Miss St. Ole Miss, Ark isn't anything special this year either nor is UT.
My point remains this, there are bad teams and good teams in the SEC, Big 12, Pac10, Big Ten, Big East, and so on.
