It was a valiant try, but apparently the Michigan Wolverines baseball club just weren't able to keep up with the Vanderbilt Commodores. Vandy beat UM 5-4 on Sunday, knocking the Wolverines out of the NCAA's Atlanta Regional. Michigan hasn't gotten further than regional play since 1985. Maybe they can turn it around next year, eh?
