Pryor's choice held up by hoops

The good news for Michigan football fans is that quarterback Terrelle Pryor is still considering signing with the Wolverines.
The bad news is that Penn State, Ohio State and Oregon are also still in the running.
He is considering all 4 schools and his father has persuaded him to visit Penn State before making his decision. Penn State is only about 70 miles from his hometown.
So what's the hold-up?
Basketball. Pryor is also a 5 star hoops player and high school playoffs in Pennsylvania are under way.

Nice to have the world in the palm of your hands and keep everyone guessing...still, why rush it...if you have the leverage why not hold out until you want to give it thought again.

Whoa, whoa. He's not holding out just to keep people guessing. Remember he's a kid and right now basketball is taking his attention. He isnt going to do his team any good if he's distracted by this signing thing.
Everyone is down on him because he wont commit and I say kudos to him for finishing what he started first, and thats his commitment to basketball.

I agree. I like that he wants to take his time and make a smart decision. Better than rushing into a bad fit and tranferring later, as so many do.

Does anyone else think that he is saying "I will play both sports wherever I go"? I don't think he want's to be limited to one sport and will take a basketball scholorship if he needs to to get what he wants.

just my thoughts

Re: Pryor's choice held up by hoops

I would think that going ahead and signing would have been the best course of action. Then he would feel confident in the fact that he KNOWS where he's going and can fully concentrate on basketball instead of constantly having the media on him about where he's going to go.

I personally think that he's an attention freak that needs to get over himself.

If he signs with Michigan it could either be really good for publicity but at the same time could be very bad.... Appalachian State bad if he doesn't do good. You don't think the media is just foaming at the mouth for this kid to flop after keeping them waiting for so long?

Personally I hope he comes to UM and I hope he does good... but the kid needs to grow up.
