Minneapolis, MN -- (Sports Network) - Dion Harris scored 15 points to lead the Michigan Wolverines to a 62-51 victory over the Minnesota Golden Gophers in a Big Ten Conference matchup from Williams Arena.

Lester Abram and Ekpe Udoh each netted 14 points for the Wolverines (19-10, 7-7 Big Ten).

Jamal Abu-Shamala posted a career-high 27 points to lead the Golden Gophers (9-20, 3-12), and Dan Coleman contributed 14 points. The loss was Minnesota's seventh consecutive defeat. Lawrence McKenzie, who entered the game leading Minnesota in scoring with 16.0 ppg, missed all 10 of his field goal attempts and was held scoreless, while also turning the ball over five times.
