Eh, it's not like they're the first major conference team to play a I-AA opponent.

Look at it this way -- it'll be a good warm up for them before the real schedule starts, if nothing else.

But usually 1-AA teams play bad 1-A teams. I'm just saying they could have gotten someone who doesn't look as bad when the voters look at the schedules.

they also still play eastern michigan in the middle of the season. I think the problem was that they didn't have 12 games yet.

App State is better than half of the BCS schools out there, it will help the RPI more than playing some crapy BCS team.
