| Carr set to retire after '07 season Language altered in Carr's contract Looks like Carr is setting up to retire after next season. If they could get any coach(and they probably could) who do you think they should get? |

| Re: Carr set to retire after '07 season Possibly. I mean, that basically is what happened to John Cooper on the other side of the fence. But then, with some of the talented teams Cooper had, they should have won 1 or 2 national titles under him. Cooper's teams constantly underachieved. Now, are Carr's teams underachieving? Sure looked like it in the Rose Bowl, at least. Man, were they flat.

| Re: Carr set to retire after '07 season Next year is his last for sure. He won't be fired because Michigan never fires anybody when they should(ex. Tommy Amaker). I think he's just ready to retire, especially after they win the national championship next year |

| Re: Carr set to retire after '07 season Retirement talk continues to surround Michigan coach Lloyd Carr. According to a Grand Rapids Press article, "For all the Michigan Wolverines who could have left, but chose to stay for a final hurrah, we are left to wonder whether that list also includes the head coach, Lloyd Carr, the 62-year-old winner of one more national championship during his career than games against Ohio State and bowl opponents the past three years... As for a retirement timetable, if there is one, Carr isn't disclosing it." |
