| Re: Fire Lloyd Carr! They're not gonna win this game - that's all but out of the question. Whatever Carr was doing this week didn't work. His team is still sleepwalking out there, all except for Mike Hart, and their defense STILL cannot figure out the spread. Not only that, but they absolutely do not have the speed to keep up with these Oregon wideouts.

| Re: Fire Lloyd Carr! Fire him, keep him, whatever. none of this matters. you think another coach is gonna make a difference? It's plain and simple, they suck. Another coach will not help. Nothing short of a miracle can help them. I dont mind saying i love watching michigan lose, especially to App. State. That game should become an ESPN instant classic. They are hopeless and dont deserve to win when they play how they play. Their QB sucks, defense sucks, coaches suck. They need to let all their players go and start from scratch. Forfeit the rest of the season, start a new one next year, then maybe they can win a game. |

| Re: Fire Lloyd Carr! Tom Dienhart of The Sporting News is reporting that Carr will not coach the team in 2008, but will not be fired during the season because "That's just not the M.O. at Michigan." Dienhart also puts together a list of possible candidates that includes Les Miles, Kansas State coach Ron Prince, Wisconsin coach Bret Bielema, Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Mike Trgovac and South Florida coach Jim Leavitt. Leavitt or Prince seem like great hires to me. What do you guys think? College football soup: Carr's as good as gone - NCAA Football - Yahoo! Sports |
