Mario Manningham injured

According to the Associated Press, "Michigan wide receiver Mario Manningham will miss the fourth-ranked Wolverines' conference game at Penn State on Saturday after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery Tuesday... The Big Ten's leading receiver appeared to injure his knee in Michigan's 31-13 win over Michigan State last Saturday."

This is going to hurt Michigan, but I think they can win anyway. What do you guys say?

Re: Mario Manningham injured

To begin with I was a little concerned and I feel for Mario. When your team is on a roll like that and to have your season end like that. Knowing that your team is moving forward and you've been a big part of that success. Penn State does scare me a little bit. Michigan still has a slew of good receivers, Adrian Arrington has been stepping up, Steve Breaston always seems to be a threat in one form or another. Michigan can bring in Carl Tabb whom we have'nt seen much of this year. Let's face it you put your best on the field and when Mario has been performing the way he has you don't get to see the other's shine. Michigan may perform a little differently on offense but, defense win's games. Michigan will win and, I'll go one step beyond this game.Michigan will be undefeated when they face Ohio State.

Boy, I sure hope so. Wouldn't it be great if things worked out, and OSU - UM was #1 vs. #2?

Re: Mario Manningham injured

ESPN is reporting that Manningham will also miss today's game against Iowa.
