| MSU run game focus for Purdue Going back to training camp in August, and continuing throughout this season, Purdue defensive coaches and players have frequently mentioned how their top goal in virtually every game has been to stop the run. It doesn't take a football genius to recognize that Saturday's Senior Day game against Michigan State will provide the Boilermakers with their ultimate challenge. The Spartans will enter Ross-Ade Stadium as the No. 2 rushing team in the Big Ten Conference, and 17th-best in the nation, running for an average of 211 yards per game.
