Michigan State concludes its 15 spring practices under first-year head coach Mark Dantonio with the Green-White intrasquad game on Saturday, April 21 at 1:30 p.m. in Spartan Stadium. Parking is free (in Lots 79, 56, 40, 63 and 66), and the stadium gates open at 12 p.m. There is no required admission charge; however, fans are asked to consider making a cash contribution to "Make A Change" upon entering the stadium.

EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Mark Dantonio saw a lot that he liked in his first spring as Michigan State's head football coach, but is looking for something more important from September through January.

"I'd like to see us win as a team," Dantonio said with a smile after Saturday's spring game, a 21-8 surprise for the Green over the White squad. "I haven't seen that yet."

No. 1 quarterback Brian Hoyer, whose late touchdown and two-point passes gave the White squad its only points, said a lot has changed since the Spartans dropped eight of their last nine games to finish 4-8 under the fired John L. Smith in 2006.

"Coach Dantonio has instilled a whole new attitude, and everyone has embraced it," Hoyer said. "It's all about people doing the right things. We're focusing on all the little things. When mistakes are made, the coaches let you know it.

"That was something that was missing last year."
