Spartans sign QB Nick Foles

Nick Foles, a 6-foot-5, 235-pound quarterback from Westlake High School in Austin, Texas, signed a National Letter of Intent on Sunday, Feb. 18 to attend Michigan State University. Foles became the 21st member of the Spartans' 2007 football recruiting class. "We're extremely excited about adding Nick Foles to our 2007 recruiting class," first-year Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio said. "We were fortunate to sign two of the nation's most-talented quarterbacks in this class, with Nick joining Kirk Cousins (Holland, Mich./Holland Christian High School). We anticipate Nick providing immediate competition at the quarterback position."

Re: Spartans sign QB Nick Foles

Foles was the 30th ranked pro-style passer in the country, according to Rivals.com.

So which of these guys will turn out to be the better QB, in your estimation -- Foles or Kirk Cousins?

Re: Spartans sign QB Nick Foles

Nick Foles set school career records for passing yards (5,65 and passing TDs (56), breaking marks previously held by Drew Brees.

I like Foley...the kid was breaking Brees records...you gotta like that.
