Michigan State football fans are invited to join first-year head coach Mark Dantonio and his coaching staff for Spartan Football Signing Day 2007 on Wednesday, Feb. 7 at the Breslin Center. Admission is free and doors open at 5:30 p.m. as a 60-minute autograph session, featuring members of the 2007 Spartan football team, kicks off the activities from the concourse. A complimentary schedule poster will be provided for autographs. The Spartan Brass as well as the MSU cheerleaders and dance team will entertain the crowd prior to the formal program. At 7:15 p.m., Coach Dantonio will introduce the 2007 recruiting class via video highlights.

So the fans will be allowed to celebrate the recruiting class alongside the coaches. The question is, will it be a class worth celebrating?

Thus far, Lefty, school is out on that question. Some of the recruits, like DT Antonio Jeremiah and WR Mark Dell, are excellent prospects. Others who have made oral commitments are, on paper, less talented. With Mark Dantonio's late hire, he and his staff have gotten off to somewhat of a late start. I still have confidence that they will have a respectable harvest, but we'll know a lot more as February 7 draws closer.

Will the go out to Antonio Jeremiah's School or home all does this work?

I mean they as in the coach or will he come to us?
