"Recruiting is going well. We're excited about where we're at. We've had a chance to get out in the state of Michigan and throughout the Midwest. I think the fact that we were able to get our staff together very quickly really helped us in terms of getting people out on the road with knowledge of the recruiting process and also with knowledge of who's out there in terms of Michigan, Ohio, etc. From that standpoint, I think that we got a jumpstart probably from where we possibly could have been. This is the edge I think Michigan State gains from Dantonio. He knows how to recruit Ohio because he's coached in the state for so long, both as an assistant and as the Bearcats head coach. I fully expect him to bring in good caliber athletes from the Buckeye State and bolster the Spartans in the years to come. What do you think?
