No chance Michigan blows their National Championship hopes against their in-state rivals. It just can't happen...for their sake. The Spartans are a nice little team but they don't match up well against the Wolverines.

I am not optimistic about the Spartans winning the game this Saturday. Under John L. Smith, their pattern has consistently been that they play their best football in the first half of the schedule. After that, they seem to lose steam and gradually become less and less of a factor. Injuries play a role in that, but lack of motivation seems to be another recurring problem. They should be "up" for Michigan, but I would be astonished if they can stay with the Wolverines for four quarters.
