| Hurricanes hire new AD The Miami Hurricanes have named Kirby Hocutt as their new athletic director. Hocutt comes from Ohio University and has also worked in Oklahoma's athletics department. The AP says that under Hocutt, OU's ticket sales for football saw a 90% increase, and men's basketball tickets were boosted by 50%. He will replace Paul Dee, who resigned in May. Good hire for Miami?
