The expected sellout here never happened.


After a week of promoting a packed house, there were dozens of empty seats Saturday at BankUnited Center.





For the no-shows, it was their loss.


In the Atlantic Coast Conference opener, the No. 25 Miami Hurricanes turned in a performance worthy of a capacity crowd. They rallied from a sluggish start to defeat Georgia Tech 78-68 and indicated they are ready for the challenge of league play.
