A member of the 1991 National Champion Miami Hurricanes and former professional wrestler, Duane "The Rock" Johnson is the leading man in a new film in theaters Friday. Disney's "The Gameplan" features Johnson as a pro football player whose life is turned upside down when he learns he has a young daughter.

Johnson was a defensive tackle on the 1991 Hurricanes and was even higher on the depth chart than Warren Sapp. Other future NFLers on that squad include Ray Lewis, Jessie Armstead, Michael Barrow and Darryl Williams, among others.

It looks like a good movie. Fun, family comedy from Disney.

I'm glad to see the Rock get into acting full time. He's definitely got a natural talent for it.
