Here's a shocker - Kirby Freeman, not Kyle Wright, will be the Canes starting quarterback on Saturday. According to the Associated Press, "Freeman was named the Hurricanes' starter Tuesday, beating Wright in the most-scrutinized competition of training camp. Miami coach Randy Shannon wouldn't say how Freeman separated himself in the race, only insisting 'Kirby gives us the best opportunity to win games.'" Do you agree with Shannon's decision?

yes, kyle should not get to satrt bc he has seniority over kirby, if kirby is better which he is, he should start, kyle is 2-6 vs top 25 teams, kirby took over last year while kyle sat out with an injury, n led the canes to a comeback win agaisnt boston college and a bowl win in whihc he was MVP. I'm just surprised because Rivals had Wright as one of the ACC's Top 5 quarterbacks. Freeman's really better, eh?
