is the orange bowl really being torn down? theres too much history there for miami to just destroy it. but as of the 2008 season the miami hurricanes will begin to play in pro player stadium aka dolphins stadium.

is the new hurricanes stadium going to be built where the old one was?

The Hurricanes won't be getting a new stadium of their own. If I remember, they signed a 25-year deal to play at Dolphin Stadium, starting next year.

Yep, they're going to Dolphins Stadium, according to ESPN. Shame, but it looks like the effort to save the Orange Bowl failed.

I can sympathize, marco. I was seriously bummed when they closed the Boston Garden. Stinks how some of these old venues are getting shut down.
