| Canes hire coaches Barrow, McGriff CORAL GABLES, Fla. - Coach Randy Shannon completed his 2007 coaching staff with the hiring of former Hurricanes All-American linebacker Micheal Barrow as linebackers coach and Wesley McGriff as secondary coach. In addition, Tim Walton, who was the team ' s defensive backs coach the last three seasons, has been promoted to defensive coordinator. " We have a great teachers on the coaching staff. They are energetic and will be able to assist and direct the players we have to better themselves on and off the field with a championship mentality, " said head coach Randy Shannon. | Re: Canes hire coaches Barrow, McGriff Keeping it in-house, in-family. The D is going to be dangerous next season. Just wait until they let Allen Bailey loose on the field. |
