| Hurricanes hire Patrick Nix The Miami Hurricanes have hired Patrick Nix as their new offensive coordinator. Nix was most recently the offensive coordinator under Chan Gailey at Georgia Tech, and with him calling the plays for the first time this season, the Jackets ranked 67th in offense -- better than the Hurricanes, but good enough to warrant this job offer?
